Two things?

 There is two things that I need to make a new film. Money and Actors. I do have a medical problem that requires a large some of money as well. But that is nether here or there In making a film unless I should become so ill I can't carry out my duties on set. 

So what do we do?  I have one female actress to play the women who drives the van life van in Living Off That Land. I would need to find 100 film extras for a half day and the two lead roles. 

I really dislike fundraising. It takes so much time and its just constant waiting to reach the goal. Someone once said "why not wait until the film is fully funded before filming it?" Answer the actors would be years older by the time it was fully funded.

Its the chicken and the egg.  I cant fundraise with out the actors cast and I can't film until its funded.

No one wants to help fund a film with out knowing who the actors are. 

So I am currently retired. I decided to pack it in a few years ago. I still have stories to tell. If i suddenly find some actors and I suddenly find the funding, I guess I would jump in and make a film. I love filming. I have been doing it since before Grade One. I also love how excited the actors are to do what they love to do, acting.  There is nothing like seeing a happy child smiling from ear to ear.
