New editing computer

I need to look into a new computer for editing video. Mine is 2014 so it's 10 years old and constantly crashing. I have been looking at the new Mac Pro stuff that can edit 4k video and VFX work.  $25,000 is a huge amount of money so that's never going to happen. It's nice to dream once in a while.  

My friend Dale donated a 2009 Mac Pro 4 core that can edit 2k video but I haven't been able to find any editing soft ware that will work on High Sera 10.13.6. Maybe some one has an old copy of Premier pro that will work on it.  I tried installing the new one from their website but it won't install on the old system.  

My friend George donated a 20 year old server 24 core with the new free version of Devinchi resolve but it can't play back video with out chugging.  Any ideas? 

Its a rainy day.

It's a rainy March Break day so I'm getting back to script writing. Today I'm working on Madison Williams  and Trace Trace film. We will be doing an update video one day after March Break and we will be doing a one hour fundraiser live chat to hopefully make enough money to make the film. 

I'm planning some rewrites for the Zombie Zone 82 film. I will start working on the script again soon. 

We have Ezra, Wynston, Neo Briski, Conan Bauer, Sydney Heasman, Trace Savage and 20 boys yet to cast.

I have to look into making Ghost of Thunder Lake if I can find the casting members for it. If not I will push it to next summer. 

The U12 Divers film has done very well on YouTube the first few weeks. Hopefully it goes viral. 

Thank you to all the new subscribers. It helps out 100% with the channel.  we have all moved the YouTube money from $100 every 2.5 years to $100 every 12 months. Hopefully we can get that number up higher and higher. All the YouTube ad revenue goes into future film projects. 

I'm going to try and make this years films as cheap as possible. but Zombie Zone is coming in around $4000,  Ghost of thunder lake is currently looking like $6000 and Madison's movie is still in the $5000 range. That's a lot of money to raise. If you like the films we make please consider making a contribution.  Buy Sterling a Coffee.  Buy the cast lunch. Possibly donate $10 that you didn't spend on a theater ticket to see the film we posted for free. I will post your name in the films ending credits under Special Thanks.

We made the news papers again.

We made it into the newspapers again. The actors got a touch of the Hollywood Tremont, walking the mini red carpet and talking to reporters. Hopefully we get some donations to the new film projects.  We did raise $175 at the premier to go into this year's film projects. Just $9,825 to go.

What's next?

With the diving film completed and published it's time to kick off new projects. I picked up a Betacam Sp tape deck. I'm crossing my fingers it works as it should. The plan is to import all the rough footage from the 2001 film Swim Zack Swim and edit from scratch the feature length version. The film was deleted from the computer before it was exported to tape way back 01.

I have many casting calls going for this summers films. I'm setting up auditions for future actors.

U12 Divers

We had a very successful premiere screening of the U12 Feature Film today. Everyone really like it. We had a full theater with only 10 seats to spare.

 A great big thank you to everyone who donated some money towards the theater rental.  It was fully covered and we have $170 towards one of this summers productions.

I will be posting a QHR Report covering the event later today.
